Man Finds Giant 7 Foot Snake Under Couch Cushion

CHULA VISTA, CA – A California snake removal expert was called by a customer who said there was a snake under his couch cushion. When Alex Trejo, owner of So-Cal Rattlesnake Removal arrived, he was shocked by the discovery.

The snake he found was a rare 7-foot-long Vietnamese blue beauty rat snake.

“This guy calls me, is pretty frantic, and he’s like, ‘There’s a snake in my couch,'” Trejo said in an interview with a local television station.

He said he would now try to find the snake’s owner. The snake is being treated for a respiratory infection.

Trejo said the snake probably escaped from its owner and snapped at him while he tried to secure it.
