New York lieutenant governor resigns after bribery charges -governor

NEW YORK – New York state Governor Kathy Hochul said on Tuesday she had accepted Lieutenant Governor Brian Benjamin’s resignation, hours after Benjamin was arrested on federal bribery charges.
