Three Shot, Two Dead in Wilkinsburg Shooting

WILKINSBURG, PA – Two men were found shot dead in a home, and a third victim was taken to an area hospital after being shot in the buttocks, police said today.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in Wilkinsburg and confirmed the two deceased males. Their names were not released at this time.

“At approximately 8:25 pm on April 19, 2022, County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 700 block of Midland St. First responders found two unknown age males deceased in a residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds,” the department said. “Another adult male victim was driven to an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks.”

Homicide detectives initiated an investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
