Baltimore Police ID Suspect Who Shot Girlfriend

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on March 21st. This incident happened on the 28900 Block of Stafford Road.

According to detectives, “At approximately 9:24 p.m., a 36-year-old female shooting victim drove herself to the Southwest District police station seeking help. The victim told police she was in the 2900 block of Stafford Road when she was shot by her boyfriend. The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was treated.”

Detectives from the Southwest District investigated this incident and have a warrant for the suspect’s arrest. The police need help locating 28-year-old Samal Chavis of the 3800 block of The Alameda.
