Howard County Crime Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – Police in Howard County have released the following reports regarding criminal incidents in the county for June 28-30, 2022. These incidents represent just a portion of incident police responded to on those days.

Residential burglary
Columbia, 21045: 
9300 block of Cornshock Court, June 29-30 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) entered an attached shed and stole an ATV and power washer. No signs of forced entry were observed.

Robbery 

Jessup, 20794: 7300 block of Assateague Drive, June 29 3 a.m.
An adult male victim reported that he was assaulted by an acquaintance who stole various belongings before fleeing. No one was injured.

Commercial burglary 
Jessup, 20794: 
Praxair Distribution, Inc., 8000 block of Dorsey Run Road, June 28-29 overnight 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business and stole a welding machine. No signs of forced entry were observed.

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Laurel, 20723: 
10700 block of Graeloch Road, June 28-29 overnight, nothing reported stolen

Ellicott City, 21042: 9200 block of Waycross Road, June 29, cash, credit cards 

Ellicott City, 21043: 3200 block of Normandy Wood Drive, June 29-30 overnight, car parts, tags

Elkridge, 20175: 6100 block of Rockburn Branch Park Road, June 30 9-10:50 a.m., wallet

Vehicle theft
Columbia, 21045: 
5900 block of Tamar Drive, June 29-30 overnight 
2015 silver Nissan Altima, tags SC/UAL502
