McDonald’s Drive-Thru Robbed at Gunpoint

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A McDonald’s Drive-Thru in Glen Burnie was robbed at gunpoint this morning.

According to police, at approximately 4:30 a.m. officers responded for a report of a robbery that just occurred at the McDonald’s at 6906 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.

“Officers learned that a black Nissan sedan pulled up to the drive-thru window. The rear occupant got out and conducted a transaction at the window. While the cash register drawer was open the suspect displayed a handgun and took the cash drawer,” police said. “The suspect got back into the car and the vehicle fled the business.”
