New York City Cops Attacked by Glass Bottles, Projectiles at Dominican Day Parade

NEW YORK, NY – New York City police officers were attacked by a mob of unruly attackers in the Bronx on Sunday. A group of individuals threw glass bottles and other projectiles at police officers after the city’s Dominican Day parade.

The scene was caught on video as the group of men attacked the officers, even punching them as they detained a man for possession of an illegal firearm.

The incident happened at 8:05 pm near the intersection of East 168th Street and Sheridan in the Bronx.

One officer was injured in the melee.
