15-Year-Old Charged with Attempted Murder of 17-Year-Old in Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – A 15-year-old juvenile suspect has been arrested for a shooting he committed on August 13th. According to police, at approximately 5:33 p.m., Southern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Stricker Street to investigate a reported shooting, which turned out to be non-fatal.

“When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 17-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital by ambulance for treatment,” police said. “Through the course of their investigation, shooting detectives were able to identify a suspect.”

Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for a 15-year-old juvenile suspect. The suspect was subsequently arrested on August 17, 2022 and formally charged the suspect with 1st Degree Attempted Murder.

The juvenile is currently being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
