Two Shot, One Dead In Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two men were shot in Southeast D.C. Saturday afternoon. According to police, a 26-year-old victim was pronounced dead a short time later. The shooting happened near the Benning Road Station at the 4500 Block of Benning Road.

The DC Metro Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 5:40 pm. Responding officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

26-year-old Antonio Taylor was pronounced at a nearby hospital. The other victim is expected to survive. His name has not been released at this time.
