Home Invader Caught On Camera Stealing Victims Car in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a burglary and theft of a vehicle that took place early Sunday morning in an occupied residence in Northwest, D.C.

On the 5000 Block of Macomb Street, the suspect broke into an occupied residence at 4:30 am. The suspect grabbed the keys to the victim’s vehicle and left the scene in that vehicle. The vehicle has since been found.

The suspect was captured on nearby surveillance cameras. If you have any information about this incident or recognize the suspect, take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
