67-year-old man shot dead in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – A fatal shooting took place at the intersection of Williams Avenue and Atlantic Avenue within the 75 Precinct, leaving a 67-year-old man dead. On Saturday, at approximately 10:51 AM, police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot. Upon arrival, officers found the victim unconscious and unresponsive on the ground, suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest.

EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The identity of the deceased is pending family notification, and no arrests have been made.

The investigation into this tragic incident remains ongoing, and the NYPD is working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting and apprehend those responsible.
