Police investigating door-knock home invasion robbery in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals connected to an attempted robbery that occurred within the 81 Precinct. The incident was reported on Sunday, at around 11:15 pm near Ralph Avenue and Chauncey Street.

Two unknown individuals approached a 26-year-old victim’s residence, knocked on the door, and displayed firearms upon entry.

The individuals demanded money but fled the location in a dark-colored SUV without any money or property. The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.

The NYPD has released descriptions of the sought individuals and asks anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). All calls are strictly confidential.
