16-year-old reported missing in the Bronx

NEW YORK – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing from the 43 Precinct in the Bronx.

Evan Diaz, a Hispanic male, was last seen on Thursday, April 20, 2023, around 7:45 p.m. in front of his home at 1130 Colgate Avenue. According to police, Diaz is approximately 5’10” tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has a thin build, brown eyes, and black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and black Nikes.

As the investigation continues, anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
