Four shot, one dead overnight in Trenton

TRENTON, NJ – Last night, the Trenton Police Department received a report of multiple people shot on the 200 block of Hamilton Avenue.

Police officers arrived on the scene at 10:28 p.m. and found three individuals with gunshot wounds. A fourth victim had already been taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Ralph Conquest, 43, of Lawrence, was pronounced dead at Capital Health Regional Medical Center around 1:53 a.m. Another male victim remains in critical condition, while a male and female victim are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries to their hand and leg.

The mass casualty event prompted an investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department.
