SALISBURY, MD – An elaborate theft scheme at Salisbury Scrap Metal has resulted in charges being filed against employee Michael Angelo Fisher and customer Lenord Pompilus Jr. Fisher allegedly falsified customer information, weights, and types of metals being dropped off, resulting in significant financial loss for the company.
Pompilus coordinated with other individuals to steal from the company, exploiting the falsified records. The total loss is estimated at $8,457.
Both suspects are now facing charges of theft scheme $1,500 to $25,000 and conspiracy to commit theft scheme $1,500 to $25,000.
Pompilus was served with a criminal summons on April 12, while Fisher has not yet been served. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigation Division.
