PRINCETON, NJ – Police officers from various departments across the United States began their annual Police Unity Tour earlier today. Among them are several officers from our local department, including Ptl. Shahid Abdul-Karim and Ptl. Brandon Rios, who are participating in the bike tour. Additionally, Ptl. Chris King and Ptl. Adam Santos are assisting with the motorcycle escort, while Cpl. Eric Dawson and Det. Travis Allie are providing support operations.

The tour aims to raise awareness of law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The tour also serves as a fundraiser for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum, with the motto “We ride for those who died.”
