Baltimore County police arrest two juveniles for breaking into vehicles in Loch Hill

Baltimore, MD – Two juveniles were apprehended after leading police on a dangerous chase following a string of car break-ins on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. At around 12:25 a.m., Baltimore County Police officers responded to a call regarding destruction of property in the 6600 block of Loch Hill Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered several vehicles that had been broken into.

While investigating, officers came across a dark sedan with its engine running near Raven Hill and Loch Hill Roads. As officers approached the vehicle to determine whether it was stolen, two juveniles jumped into the sedan and fled the scene.

Despite attempts by officers to stop the vehicle, the driver refused to comply, endangering the lives of officers in the process.

During the chase, the suspect vehicle struck two marked police cars and dragged an officer who was attempting to stop the juveniles.

The pursuit came to an end at the intersection of Northwood Drive and Pentwood Road, where officers were finally able to apprehend the 15 and 14-year-old juvenile suspects.

Following their arrest, officers identified at least five vehicles that were broken into in connection to these suspects. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
