Armed Robber In D.C. Caught On Surveillance Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C., Metro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who was involved in an Armed Robbery on May 2nd in Northwest, D.C.

Shortly before 11 am, a perpetrator walked into a business located at the 1700 block of 17th Street. The individual wielded a weapon and instructed the staff to hand over cash from the register. The employee complied with the demand, and the offender left the premises.

 Nearby surveillance captured the suspect. If you can identify this suspect or have any information about this incident, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
