Suspect wanted for multiple thefts arrested in Bethesda

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Kerrick Omar Miller, 31, of an unknown address, was arrested and charged with a theft that occurred on Saturday, March 4, 2023, in Bethesda. The arrest was executed by detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Patrol Investigations Unit.

The victim, a restaurant employee, had their backpack stolen from a coat rack by the suspect. The suspect then proceeded to take an undisclosed amount of cash from the bag before leaving it under a bathroom sink.

Detectives identified Miller as the suspect and found that he was also involved in multiple thefts and a strong-arm robbery in the Bethesda area. This included an incident on Friday, April 14, 2023, where Miller shoved a waiter against a wall and left a restaurant without paying his bill.

Miller was arrested on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, and transported to the Central Processing Unit, where he is currently being held without bond.
