NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify two individuals involved in an attempted robbery on Saturday, May 27, 2023, around 6:35 pm. The incident took place within the confines of the 42 Precinct.
The police report details that three unknown individuals approached a 24-year-old female. The victim was assaulted and an unsuccessful attempt was made to take her bag. The perpetrators fled the scene, but one of the three was arrested and charged shortly after the incident.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
