Police resume search for missing OSU student

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Division of Police has recommenced their search efforts this morning for Amina Alhaj-Omar, an OSU student who was reported missing by her family on June 10.

Multiple units, including the Missing Persons Unit, Physical Abuse Unit, Dive Team, and CSSU, are collaborating in the search, concentrating on the vicinity where the 25-year-old was last seen.

In their search operations, the Division of Police has employed the use of a helicopter and drones to conduct an aerial grid search.

Search and recovery K-9s have also been deployed to assist the personnel in their search efforts. The collective actions of these teams aim to locate Amina and ensure her well-being. Updates regarding the search will be provided as more information becomes available.
