NYPD Investigating Robberies at Multiple Kohl’s Stores Citywide

NEW YORK, NY – The Kohl’s department store chain has been the target of multiple robberies across New York City in recent weeks and police believe the same suspect is responsible for each incident.

On Sunday, June 25, at approximately 7:30 PM, an unknown individual entered the Kohl’s store at 61-11 188 Street after the store was closed. The suspect took various store items, including jewelry, before fleeing through the emergency exit door.

On Sunday, July 2, that same individual remained inside the 8973 Bay Parkway Kohl’s after the establishment closed. At around 12:15 AM, the suspect took various store items, including jewelry and sunglasses, before fleeing through the emergency exit door.

On Monday, he once again remained inside the 61-11 188 Street Kohl’s after the store was closed. At approximately 10:00 PM, the suspect removed various store items, including jewelry, before fleeing through the delivery bay.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 40 to 55 years old, around 5’8″ tall, and has a medium build. He has a slight limp and a graying beard.
