Two Arrests Made in Bronx Assault Case

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department reports two arrests in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday, July 11.

The incident took place in the vicinity of East 193 Street and Morris Avenue.

The first arrest, a 16-year-old male, was made on Wednesday, at around 7:20 pm. The second arrest, Angel Hernandez, a 20-year-old male from the Bronx, was made on Thursday, at approximately 10:57 am.

Both individuals have been charged with four counts of attempted murder.

The police department continues to investigate this case. They asked anyone with further information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit their tips online at the CrimeStoppers website.
