Facebook Felon Harrased Victim with Armed Videos Used as Evidence for His Arrest

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Tuesday, Caelan Patrick Ryan O’Toole, a 23-year-old resident of Cumberland, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Cumberland City Police Department.

The victim had reported harassment, including death threats and videos featuring O’Toole with a handgun, on their social media account.

A search and seizure warrant executed at O’Toole’s residence revealed a stolen handgun and quantities of suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine. O’Toole was prohibited from owning a firearm.

O’Toole was taken to the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance and has been remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

His charges include firearm possession with a felony conviction, illegal ammunition possession, drug possession excluding cannabis, possession of a loaded handgun, and other related offenses.
