NYC Cab Driver Assaulted by Group of Five Attackers

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 60-year-old cab driver fell victim to a group assault on Wednesday, July 19, around 8:00 pm.

The incident began with a dispute between the victim and an unknown individual. The driver pulled over his vehicle, at which point he was approached by two more individuals who damaged the vehicle’s side view mirror.

According to the police, two additional individuals joined the assault, resulting in the driver being punched and kicked multiple times by the group of five. The victim was transported to NYU Langone Medical Center by EMS in stable condition.

Two suspects, Howard Colley, a 35-year-old male from Brooklyn, and Natalie Morgan, a 51-year-old female also from Brooklyn, were arrested and charged in connection with the assault.

The remaining three suspects are still at large. Descriptions of the individuals have been released and the New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in their identification.
