Teen Shot In The Groin In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A 19-year-old was shot early Saturday morning in Southwest Baltimore. The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the shooting.

Responding to a Shot Spotter alert just after 2:30 a.m., officers from the Southwest District rushed to the 2100 block of West Saratoga Street. Shortly afterward, they were alerted to a shooting victim who had walked into a nearby hospital seeking medical help. The officers located a 19-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the groin at the hospital. The victim’s condition has been reported as stable.

Based on the initial investigation, it was determined that the victim sustained a gunshot wound in the 2100 block of West Saratoga Street.
