Man Pleasured Himself on Train After Being Rejected by Woman

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department requests public assistance in identifying a male suspect related to a public lewdness incident.

On Thursday, August 10, at about 1:45 pm, a 40-year-old woman aboard a southbound “3” train, departing the Franklin Avenue/Botanic Garden station, was approached by the suspect.

He attempted conversation, which was unsuccessful, and sat across from her. Shortly after, the woman noticed him engage in a lewd act under his clothing.

The man was last observed fleeing near Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue.

The suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old male, standing 5’8” tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with a dark complexion, facial hair, wearing a white t-shirt, tan shorts, and black sneakers.

The Police Department encourages those with pertinent details to step forward.
