Man Fatally Shot While Driving through Philadelphia’s Hunting Park

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was shot in the head while driving in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia early Monday morning, resulting in a fatal crash.

The incident reportedly occurred around 3 a.m.

After being shot, the man crashed into a PECO pole near Little Flower Catholic High School on the 1000 block of West Lycoming Street.

Police pronounced him dead at the scene. The identity of the victim remains unknown, as he was not carrying identification at the time.

The Philadelphia Police Department is currently trying to pinpoint the exact location of the shooting.
