CAMBRIDGE, MD – Cambridge Police Chief Justin Todd reported that three individuals aged 18, 19, and 25 were injured following gunfire on Jimson Road just after midnight on Monday.

All are expected to recover and have been taken to a nearby hospital. The gunfire also damaged nearby vehicles and homes.

According to Chief Todd, the shooting was potentially the result of the individuals targeting each other. Minutes later, a 911 call reported another shooting at 425 Henry Street.

Kenneth Ramcharan, a 37-year-old man, was found dead on the back steps of the residence. The Maryland State Police have taken the lead in this investigation.

The Cambridge Police Department is unsure if both incidents are related. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at (410)-228-3333.
