NYPD Makes Arrest in Deadly Crash

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Marcos Vega-Pagan, a 24-year-old male, has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday, August 3.

The incident took place at Henry Hudson Parkway near West 145th Street. The victim, Joel E. Quintana, a 42-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem.

Vega-Pagan faces multiple charges including manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

He is currently in custody within the jurisdiction of the New York City Police Department.

The investigation remains ongoing and is being led by the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department.
