Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Downtown Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – A 33-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday at 167 Sands Street, prompting an NYPD investigation.

The incident occurred at around 1:20 p.m. in the rear of the specified address. An unknown male approached the victim, displayed a firearm, and demanded her property. The woman complied, handing over her Prada purse. The suspect then fled the scene, moving westbound on Sands Street. The stolen purse was valued at $1,300 and contained credit cards and bank cards. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue facemask, red hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants, and black sneakers. Media depicting the individual has been obtained from 167 Sands Street.
