Baltimore Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – Southern District police officers responded to a Shotspotter alert in the 900 block of W. Ostend Street at approximately 1:29 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of gunfire but no immediate victim.

Shortly thereafter, they were dispatched to an area hospital where a 37-year-old male was being treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Southern District shooting detectives have taken over the investigation.
