Man Who Robbed Delivery Driver at Gunpoint Arrested

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – Police have charged Donald Cornelious, 51, of Halethorpe, in connection with a May 4 robbery that took place in Elkridge.

An adult male victim reported that while making package deliveries in the 8000 block of Joetta Drive, a male suspect with a covered face entered his truck. The suspect displayed a gun, assaulted the victim, and stole his wallet before fleeing the scene. No serious injuries were reported.

Through investigation, Howard County police identified Cornelious and charged him with armed robbery, robbery, assault, and theft. Detectives believe the victim was targeted and had prior knowledge of the suspect.
