COCKEYSVILLE, MD – A tragic vehicular accident took place on Saturday in the vicinity of Jarrettsville Pike and Blenheim Roads, leading to the death of a 33-year-old woman.
The collision happened around 6:20 p.m., with investigators finding that a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado, heading southbound on Jarrettsville Pike, collided with a 2012 Honda Civic traveling in the opposite direction.
Amber Eckert, the driver of the Honda Civic, was unfortunately pronounced dead at the crash site.
Detectives from the Baltimore County Crash Team have since taken over the investigation, meticulously analyzing the circumstances that contributed to this fatal event.
