Off-Duty NYPD Employee Arrested on Larceny and Possession Charges

NEW YORK – An off-duty New York City Police Department (NYPD) employee was arrested on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at around 4:28 p.m. within the jurisdiction of the 62 Precinct.

The individual, identified as Lateesha Roberts, a 30-year-old NYPD Police Communications Technician, now faces charges of Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.

Further details surrounding the circumstances of the arrest were not immediately available. The NYPD has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
