PHILADELPHIA, PA – A local resident could be more than $206,000 richer today, following the Pennsylvania Lottery Treasure Hunt drawing on Thursday, October 12.

According to Lottery Media Relations, a jackpot-winning ticket was sold at ShopRite on 3745 Aramingo Avenue in Philadelphia. For selling the winning ticket, the store has been rewarded with a $500 bonus.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 1-4-17-19-25, which matched all five balls drawn. In addition to the jackpot-winning ticket, more than 64,300 other Treasure Hunt tickets won prizes in this particular drawing. “Winners are not known until prizes are claimed, and tickets are validated,” stated Pennsylvania Lottery officials, urging all players to diligently check their tickets.

Treasure Hunt winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. The Pennsylvania Lottery also advises winners who purchased their tickets at a retailer to sign the back of the ticket immediately for validation. Online winnings are automatically credited to the player’s account once the claim has been processed.

The Treasure Hunt game has been a part of the Pennsylvania Lottery’s offerings since its debut in May 2007. The game is drawn during the day, seven days a week. Ticket sales for each day’s drawing end at 1:05 p.m., and results are posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website after 1:35 p.m.
