Newark Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing 13-Year-Old Girl

NEWARK, NJ — The Newark Department of Public Safety is requesting the public’s assistance in finding Kasche F. Fortune, a 13-year-old Newark resident who was reported missing on October 24.

Kasche, an African-American juvenile, was last seen departing her home on the 300 block of Schley Street. She was wearing a black hair bonnet, a grey jacket, and black Adidas pants at the time of her disappearance. She stands at 5’4″ and weighs 100 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a light brown complexion. Authorities believe she may be in the vicinity of the 100 block of 1st Street.

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé is encouraging anyone with information regarding Kasche’s location to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
