Woman Assaulted on Brooklyn Bridge in Suspected Hate Crime Attack

NEW YORK, NY – On Saturday evening, a 31-year-old male was subjected to an anti-ethnic verbal attack and physical assault on the Brooklyn Bridge footpath. An unknown female made an anti-ethnic statement before slapping the man’s face and fleeing.

The victim did not require medical attention at the scene. The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force has taken over the investigation.

The assailant is described as a female, approximately 30 years old, 5’7″ in height, with brown eyes and long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, and sunglasses.
