Two Teens Shot in Laurel in Unprovoked Shooting Incident

LAUREL, DE – On Monday, at 2:47 p.m., the Delaware State Police responded to a shooting on the 500 block of West 7th Street.

An 18-year-old male was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

Two more victims, aged 15 and 13, were found injured but in stable condition. Preliminary findings suggest two unidentified suspects approached the victims and began shooting.

The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is requesting information from the public.
