SPARTA, WI – The Sparta Police Department has arrested Damion Hernandez-Swenson, a 20-year-old resident, on Tuesday. Hernandez-Swenson faces multiple charges related to sexual offenses against minors.
He appeared in Monroe County Circuit Court on Thursday, where the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office filed 13 felony counts against him.
These charges include 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Repeated Sexual Assault of Same Child, Intimidation of Victim – Threaten Force, and several other related counts.
The investigation revealed ongoing contact between Hernandez-Swenson and one of the victims, related to the Intimidation charge. The Monroe County Department of Human Services was informed but decided not to remove the victim from the situation.
Judge Richard Radcliffe set a $250,000 cash bond for Hernandez-Swenson, with additional bond conditions.
