VICTOR, ID – Idaho authorities have launched an investigation following the tragic deaths of a pregnant woman and her 10-month-old son. The suspect, identified as Jeremy Albert Best, was arrested after his son, Zeke Gregory Best, was found deceased in a vehicle.
The series of events unfolded on Thursday when the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office responded to a situation at the Swan Valley General Store. Best was found naked and behaving erratically. After being escorted from the store, he was hospitalized for medical and mental health evaluation but was not initially arrested.
Later that day, around 11:40 p.m., the Teton County Sheriff’s Office received a distressing 911 call. Responding to a home in the 4600 block of Skyline Loop, Victor, near the Idaho-Wyoming border, deputies discovered Kali Jean Randall, 38, unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her death is being treated as a homicide.
Best was later apprehended on Saturday, following a report of a nude man on the side of a road. It was then that authorities located the body of his son, Zeke, in a black Chevy SUV. This incident has prompted a thorough investigation, as authorities piece together the events leading to these tragic outcomes.
