Toms River Winding River Walking Trail to Close Amid Flood Warnings; Ice Rink Remains Open

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Toms River Township Government has announced the closure of the Winding River Walking Trail this weekend due to expected flooding. Residents and visitors are advised to adjust their plans accordingly.

Despite the closure of the walking trail, the Winding River Ice Rink will continue operations as usual, including on Monday, Martin Luther King Day. The full schedule of the ice rink is available on the township’s website include DJ skate nights, open public skating, and adult open hockey.

With the National Weather Service issuing flood warnings for the weekend, the township urges caution and recommends residents stay informed about the latest weather updates and advisories.
