Bridge Reconstruction Closes Segment of Somers Point-Mays Landing Road for a Year

Egg Harbor Township, NJ – The Egg Harbor Township Police Department announced a long-term road closure on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, starting Monday, January 22nd. This closure, expected to last approximately one year, is due to the reconstruction of Bridge EH-29. The affected segment extends from Steelmanville Road to English Creek Avenue.

Local access to residents and businesses will be maintained through a detour route. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour signs and exercise caution while navigating the area.
