Two Arrested in Connection with Norfolk Shooting

Norfolk, VA – Norfolk police have apprehended two individuals linked to a shooting incident that resulted in a 19-year-old man sustaining life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred on Saturday, February 17, around 8:15 p.m. at 6101 N. Military Highway, near a Dollar Tree store. Responding officers discovered the young man with critical gunshot wounds. He was promptly taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment and is anticipated to make a recovery.

In a related development, police were alerted to Sentara Leigh Hospital following the admission of an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening. The connection between these two cases has led to the charges against the two arrested individuals, highlighting a swift response by law enforcement to the violent episode.
