Seaside Heights, NJ – The Ocean County St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set to march through Seaside Heights on March 9th from 12 PM to 3 PM.

It is the annual celebration of Irish heritage and the unofficial kick-off of the 2024 tourism season on the northern barrier island. Some arcades and shops will be open on the boardwalk and bars and restaurants throughout the borough will feature live music and entertainment throughout the day.

Participants interested in joining the festivities have three simple steps to follow to be part of the march. Organizations must register online, providing details about who they are and what they do for announcement purposes at the reviewing stand. Following registration, applicants will receive an email confirmation of their approval within 24-48 hours.

In preparation for the parade, participants are advised to check their emails the week of the event for the Line of March. All groups need to plan to check in on parade day by 10:30 AM to ensure a smooth procession.

This year, the Grand Marshall of the parade is former Toms River Councilman Kevin Geoghegan. The parade committee will also honor longtime volunteer, Erin Ryan, who passed away in December.
