Boy, 13, Arrested for Assault and Robbery in Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department reported the arrest of a juvenile in connection with an assault and robbery incident in the Central District. The incident, which occurred on March 13, 2024, at around 8:45 p.m. at 400 Light Street, involved two suspects confronting the victim.

According to the police report, the victim was accosted by two individuals who demanded he remove his ski mask. When the victim refused, the suspects proceeded to physically assault him, punching him repeatedly. During the altercation, the victim dropped his book bag, containing a lacrosse stick.

One of the suspects then allegedly seized the lacrosse stick and used it to strike the victim on the left arm. Subsequently, the victim surrendered his ski mask to the assailants, who then fled south on the promenade towards the amphitheater, carrying the lacrosse stick and the stolen ski mask.

Law enforcement officers were able to apprehend one of the suspects, a 13-year-old male, who was taken into custody and transported to juvenile booking facilities. The suspect has been charged with the incident.
