Accidental Baby Stroller Bump Escalates to Bias Attack in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating an incident that occurred on March 25, in Brooklyn. At around 1:44 PM, a 19-year-old female and a 25-year-old male, while walking near Bay 28th Street and 86th Street, accidentally bumped their stroller into an unidentified woman.

This led to the woman making anti-ethnic remarks towards the victims and pushing the stroller, before fleeing south on 86 Street.

Accidental Baby Stroller Bump Escalates to Bias Attack in Brooklyn

The suspect is described as a 35 to 40-year-old female with a light complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black hooded sweatshirt, carrying a black backpack.

Fortunately, the victims were not injured in the incident.
