Gunman in Pennsylvania Homicide Found Dead in West Virginia

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department has released further details on a double shooting incident that occurred early on April 8th in Scott Township, resulting in two fatalities.

Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Great Oak Drive at approximately 2:50 am for a welfare check, where they discovered a 53-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Scott Township Police enlisted the support of the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit to investigate the matter. The investigation quickly pointed to a domestic situation, identifying 50-year-old Dennis Rahuba as the suspect.

In a subsequent development, Rahuba’s vehicle was spotted by deputies from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office traveling southbound along Interstate 77 in Charleston, West Virginia, at around 7:00 am. Rahuba was found deceased inside the vehicle shortly thereafter. The case has drawn significant attention due to its tragic nature and the subsequent cross-state implications.
