Gloucester Township, NJ—Authorities are probing a tragic incident involving a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in Gloucester Township early this morning. The Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the scene following reports of the collision at the intersection of the Old Black Horse Pike and Landing Rd.
At approximately 2:51 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024, officers arrived to find the pedestrian unconscious in the roadway, sustaining severe head injuries. Despite immediate medical intervention by officers and emergency responders, the victim tragically succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident remained at the scene and was unharmed.
