Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé appealed to the public to help in locating Aljaquan Thomason, 31, and Terrance Shells, 27, for questioning concerning a shooting incident that took place on Sunday.
Authorities responded to reports of gunfire on Irvine Turner Boulevard at 4:11 p.m. where they discovered shell casings but no reported injuries. Surveillance video depicted a male firing a gun before fleeing in a white vehicle, prompting the search for Thomason and Shells.
Director Fragé encouraged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Thomason or Shells to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line.
